Hi, my name is Maureen Thomson, the owner of Lyssabeth's Colorado Wedding Officiants. My staff of creative and energetic wedding officiants and I are here to make sure that yours will be an inspired wedding ceremony that you and your guests will remember for a lifetime. Your ceremony is the heart of your wedding day and you'll want the words you exchange at the start of your married life to reflect your love, beliefs and values. Your ceremony should share your love story with your guests and the person who officiates your ceremony must be a pro--able to handle any and all circumstances that might arise on your big day.

As Lyssabeth's officiants, we regularly support and interact with each other to exchange ideas, share tips and brainstorm solutions. Because we are more than a one-person show, we always have a backup officiant available should an emergency arise that would prohibit the assigned officiant from being able to perform your ceremony. (Rare-but it's reassuring to know that you'll have a backup if need be)

We have a wealth of written ceremony resources from which you can select all the typical and not-so typical parts of your wedding ceremony.

We do not require pre-marital counseling

We offer wedding ceremonies to fit almost any budget.

We are established (i.e. dependable). Founded in 2001 by Maureen Thomson, Lyssabeth's isn't going away any time soon and you can rest assured that we won't cancel on you before your big day (or worse yet-not show up!). This is not our hobby; it is our passion and our business, complete with signed contracts that we honor. We will communicate with you promptly, share our expertise freely and offer topnotch customer service.

Although we will give you the benefit of our experience of what has worked and not worked in the past, we leave the final decision up to you. And we'll never tell you "it can't be done".

We see wedding ceremonies as being more about celebration than ritual.

We understand that every couple prioritizes their wedding-day expenditures according to what they value most. Some folks want to keep their ceremony short and sweet and somewhat traditional, while others want a totally over-the-top unique expression of their love. We offer it all--from a two-person elopement, to 500 guests at the country club and everything in between. It's all about what you want.

Our prices range from $199 for a simple elopement to $619 for a no holds-barred, all the bells and whistles Premium Ceremony. (There's also a couple of levels in between.)
