I'm thrilled to now offer the same wedding-day experience to the couples with whom I work and am excited to be a part of this amazing team of wedding officiants. I was born and raised in Colorado and love everything about this state. I grew up in Castle Rock, CO moved up to Fort Collins to attend CSU and obtained my degree in Psychology. We moved to Windsor and set our roots. Literally, I've fallen in love with landscaping and over the past 3 years have spent hours planting. I even joined our Gardening Club.
I enjoy snowboarding, camping, hiking and riding my bike with my kids. If I was a better fisherwoman, I might do that more often. I enjoy reading, watching movies and brewing wine. I like talking about politics and I am usually the one knocking on doors in my neighborhood if we need something to be changed.
I am always intrigued by my path in life. I have learned to roll wherever the signs lead me. In 2007, my brother was getting married and suggested that maybe I should perform his wedding ceremony. I laughed and coughed and thought he was just picking on me. Although I didn't officiate his wedding, I did watch it through different eyes and the wheels began churning that maybe I could do this, maybe I could be a wedding officiate. I put that plan on hold while I was planning my own wedding.
I came across Lyssabeth's webpage in my search for the best wedding officiant. I knew that I didn't want an average wedding ceremony and I wanted people to really know who we were as a couple. My fiancé and I had been together for over six years and had two boys already in tow. We wanted it to be a special day and a big celebration when we finally married.
Lyssabeth's officiant Kim Mattei co-created and peformed our wedding. It reflected our personalities and our spiritual beliefs. It was outside on a beautiful fall day in Colorado and it was everything that I hoped it would be. We had so many people who came up to us at the end and, with tears in their eyes, told us they had never been to such a touching ceremony.

I believe that everyday is a great day to be alive. My older son even says that every morning when he wakes up. Things can change so fast and I got to be thankful for the moments that I have every day with my family and friends.
