There are limitations to the creativity and personal impact I can have in the lives of a wedding couple on their special day by standing by and watching someone else perform ceremonies. Meeting Lyssabeth's owner Maureen Thomson and subsequently lending my officiating skills to this energetic and creative business, has opened the door for me to become so much more for you. Here I have the chance to help create and facilitate a ceremony that is unique to you two - as it should be.

I worked in the hotel catering business for nearly 15 years. In that time, I witnessed countless wedding ceremonies and receptions from that standpoint of "service provider". My services included setting the perfect room, serving the perfect meal, coordinating the perfect party. It was always exciting and new for the bride and groom, as it should be. But for me, the event planning was very much a cookie cutter production. I now work in a courthouse where I see very simple, civil ceremonies performed by a judge - the same judge who spends all day dealing with criminals. Not exactly my idea of anyone's dream wedding day.
*I spent my college days as a singer in a band - and still get together to make music as often as we can. What does that mean (Besides the fact that I enjoy a high energy good time)? Let me say there wasn't a dry eye in the church when I serenaded my bride. Who knows? Perhaps you and Maureen can discuss personalized upgrade possibilities…
*If I could spend my weekends anywhere, it would be hiking or camping in the mountains of Northern Colorado or the wilderness of Wyoming. If you are looking for an outdoor guy, you found one.
